Full description:

Day 1 and 2 --- Arrival in Peru (Lima and Arequipa)
The first day you will arrive in Lima, the sizzling capital of Peru. The next day you take your flight to Arequipa, our hometown. Here we will brief you about your tour and hand you the car, vouchers, roadmap, etc.
The rest of the day you can stroll the streets of Arequipa and visit the famous Plaza de Armas and museums in the white city.

Day 3 and 4 --- Arequipa - Colca Canyon
After a tough, but beautiful trip, over a mountainpass of 4.910 meters, you arrive in Chivay. This village is near the second deepest canyon in the world and the best pace to see the Andean condor in the wild. On the high plains you will meet the lama's, alpaca's and vicuña's.
In the evening you can relax in the hot springs in Chivay.
You will stay two nights in the Colca Lodge.

Day 5 and 6 --- Colca Canyon - Cusco
Ascending and descending through the mighty Andes until you arrive in Cusco, one of the most beautiul cities in South-America. The capital of the ancient Inca's. You arrive in Cusco on the Avenida del Sol, avenue of the sun, the most important god fo the Inca's. Day 6 is your day at leisure to spend in Cusco. Little streets, Inca-ruins, kolonial buildings, Sacsayhuaman and the local markets. It's there to be discovered.
In the evening good food around the Plaza and every day a vibrant nightlife.

Day 7 --- Cusco - Ollantaytambo
We leave Cusco for the "Sacred Valley of the Incas". There is a lot to see, like the Inca ruins of Moray and Salineras. In Ollantaytambo you can visit the Inca fortress. We stay in a very comfortable hotel close to the trainstation.

Day 8 --- Machu Picchu
An early 'rise and shine', because we will leave with the VistaDome-train to Aguas Calientes.
This train-ride of almost 2 hours will take you through the high Andes along the Amazone-river to The Lost City of the Inca´s, Machu Picchu. In the middle of the jungle you will visit one of the most significant ruins of the Inca's. Late in the afternoon you will return to Ollantaytambo by train.

Day 9 --- Ollantaytambo - Puno
A long but easy trip today to the city on the shoreline of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake on earth. Over 3.800 meters high in the Andes.
Along the way you can visit Pisaq, Raqchi and ancient burielgrounds of the Inca's and Pre-Inca's in Sillustani, with fantastic views.

Day 10 --- Lake Titicaca
You will visit the floating islands of the Uros indians. This people lives for hundreds of years on the reet-islands. They build everything out of reet, houses, boats and schools. After the Uros-islands you go further to Taquile-island. Here you will meet with the locals.

Day 11 --- Puno - Arequipa
For the last time you will cross the mighty Andes, followed by lama's and vicuñas. Lots of different views, the very dry landscape and the volcanoes in the far distance. In the afternoon our arrival in Arequipa and transfer to the airport or your hotel.

Day 12 --- Transfer to the airport
In the afternoon we will bring you to the airport in Arequipa for your flight to Lima. In Lima you take your connecting flight home.
