Who are we... we at PeruMotors...
PeruMotors is
a flexible travel-organization, under Dutch management, specialized
in guided motorcycletours in South America, mainly in Peru, Chile,
Bolivia and Argentina.
Owned in and operating from Peru (Arequipa) we organize our exclusive guided
motorcycletours against reasonable prices. Our multi-lingual tour-guides are
very knowledgeable of the main routes an most visited places, but will also
take you 'off the beaten track'. Off course PeruMotors garantees an unforgetable
journey in small groups not larger than 10 persons. Our dual
sport motorbikes are newer models which are most suitable for driving on
asphalt and off-road.
We can accomodate private groups from 5 and. Design your own tour.

is based in Arequipa, 1000 km south of the capital of Peru, Lima. It
is owned and managed by two 'Dutch Guys': Lars Caldenhoven & Geert
Abel Boeder (the 'Executives').
The company organizes guided motorcycletours in Peru, Bolivia,
Chile and Argentina for competitive and reasonable prices.
Besides the motor-bike-tours, they also offer tours with 4x4's
and even combinations of motor-bikes and 4x4's are posible.

Lars
Lars
would go on family vacations with his father walking in the Alps.
His father told his family: "Oh, this is just an easy walk of 3 hours".
These 'easy' walks ended most of the time after 7 heavy (!) hours.
When Lars was 10 years old, he proudly received his first mountain-guide-medal.
After that he walked many times the Alps (Europe), the Rocky
Mountains (USA) and off course the high Andes (South-America).
Lars was always very interested in Native American Indians. To satisfy those interests he visited the United States, the Maya's in Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras.
After traveling for a year to Patagonia he finally came to Peru and saw the works
of the "Masters of Architecture": the Inca's and decided to stay in
Arequipa, the most beautiful city in South-America!
Lars has organized tours on foot, by car (4x4) and by bus through the south of Peru, Bolivia and Chile since 2001. In 2004 he started PeruMotors. It's motorbike-tours are a must for every adventurer.
Geert Abel
Geert Abel worked for almost 25 years in the Information Technology for a big company in Holland.
His hobby, playing music with his rock-band "FABIAN",
brought him on stage in the #1 rock-temple in Amsterdam: Paradiso,
and even on Dutch national radio. Unfortunately further success
did not occur.
His other big hobby is traveling around the world on holidays. The USA and Canada
don't have any secrets for Abel after more than 8 long visits. Besides North-America
he has traveled through 'half' of Europe, Malaysia, Bolivia, Cuba, Vietnam, Chile
and off course Peru.
During a vacation in Peru in 2004 Geert Abel's life took a different turn. He decided that it was time for a change. In 2005 he said farewell to the technology industry and went to Peru to stay. He worked a while with a tour-operator in Cusco and after that went to Arequipa and got enamored by the magnificent city. After he had met with Lars, they decided that PeruMotors could use a second worker/owner, and now he is! Abel changed his hobby into his work!
