While in Arequipa - Peru, you can do the Colca Canyon on a motorcycle.
A 2-day guided tour brings you to the heart of the Colca Canyon, the deepest in the world and the natural habitat of the Andean Condor. It is situated along a beautiful valley with lots of Inca Terraces. Its depth reaches up to 3800 meters (12,500 ft), becoming a natural wonder worth visiting.

This is an easy 2-day trip and is suitable for everyone with a valid motorcycle-drivers-license.

Full tour-description:

Day 1 --- Arequipa - Chivay
In the morning we pick you up at your hotel and bring you to the starting-point of the tour, Hotel la Gruta. There we'll start our engines. Out of the city, around the big volcanoes of Arequipa: Chachani and El Misti, over the 'Aguada Blanca' with her vicuñas, where we have lunch. After that we have to take one of the highest passes in South America (4,910 meter / 16,100 ft) and see the llamas and alpacas. Further down to the little town of Chivay on 3,600 meters (11,800 ft). Here we will spend the night in a basic hotel. When we have time, we'll visit the hot-springs. In the evening you can stroll the plaza and the little streets of Chivay.

Day 2 --- Chivay - Arequipa
An early "Rise & Shine", because we are heading to 'Cruz del Condor', a natural observation point from where the magnitude of the Colca Canyon and the spectacular flight of the majestic Andean Condor can be appreciated. About 60 km of gravel-road lies ahead of us. On our way back to Chivay, we visit to a couple superb miradors with look-outs of the important Inca Terraces. And to Chivay for the lunch. After lunch we head back to Arequipa, where we will arrive around 16:00 hrs.
