Canyon to Canyon - 6 days
This physical tough tour (!) will bring you to the two deepest canyons in the world, the Cotahuasi Canyon and the Colca Canyon. And to the "Valley of the Volcanoes".
The hotels are basic, but this tour is of an enchanting beauty!
Suitable for everyone with a valid motorcycle-drivers-license and off-road experience.

Full tour-description:
Day 1 --- Arequipa - Aplao
We start with a tough and adventurous ride to the north of the region of Arequipa. We start the first day always easy on asphalt, today as well. Through the desert we ride to Aplao. Along the way we will find the Toro Muerte petroglyphs
and a real 'Jurassic park' where you can see real footprints of dinosaurs.
Day 2 --- Aplao - Cotahuasi
After 40 kilometers the asphalt stops for the coming 4 days. Narrow mountain-dirt-roads, high mountain-passes and fantastic views will be your part. In the afternoon you will see the second highest volcano on earth, the Coropuna (6.450 meter), and after a wild and steep descend we arrive in Cotahuasi.
This is Peru!!!!!! Guaranteed no tourists (except ourselfs, off course).
Day 3 --- Cotahuasi
In the morning you can walk to a 150 meters high Sipia Falls into the Cotahuasi Canyon and in the afternoon we can enjoy one of the hot springs nearby the little town.
Day 4 --- Cotahuasi - Orcopampa
The road to Orcopampa is very bad, but fantastic for our dirt-bikes! We have to stop very often, because of the many good views and photoshoots. We stop for lunch in Andagua,
in the middle of the 'Valley of the Volcanoes".
Through the valley to Orcopampa. Again we can enjoy hot springs in the evening.
Day 5 --- Orcopampa - Chivay
An a early 'rise and shine', because it's a long ride to the Colca Canyon, the deepest canyon in the world. On the northside of the Colca Canyon we will cross the little
town of Caylloma. From there we'll take you to the town of Chivay, in the heart of the Colca Valley, with hot springs, too !
Day 6 --- Chivay - Arequipa
An early 'rise and shine', because we have to be early on the famous "Cruz del Condor". Here you will see the Andean Condor in flight. After the condors we ride back to Chivay. On our way back to Arequipa you will ride your bike over 5.000 meter mountain-passes!!!
Along the skirts of the Chachani and El Misti volcanoes we enter Arequipa. In the evening we'll enjoy a cold beer and a alpaca-steak in one of the many restaurants and bars in the centre.
