A beautiful 4-day riding trip. The start is in ‘The White City’ Arequipa. From here the route goes downhill to the Pacific coast. Through the Peruvian coastal desert to the ‘Copper Capital of Peru’ Moquegua. From this city we ascend to Puno and we have to cross the ‘mighty’ Andes eastbound on our way to Puno, on the shores of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. In Puno we take a short boat trip to the ‘Floating Islands of the Uros indians’. On our way to the deepest canyon in the world: the Colca Canyon. On the last day we will visit ‘Cruz del Condor’ to see the Andean Condor in flight. After this visit we ride back to the city where the tour started, Arequipa.

Full tour-description:
Day 1 --- Arrival in Arequipa
You will arrive in Arequipa on day one, the lively 'White City' in the south of Peru. Here we will welcome you and you will meet the team that will support you for the next days on your tour. After an extensive briefing you've got time to explore the city and its surroundings.
Day 2 --- Arequipa - Colca Canyon
The first riding day is a easy start of this tour. We will pass the highest paved (!) road in the world on our way to the Colca Canyon. We stay in a very nice hotel near Chivay, with its private 'Hot Springs'.
Day 3 --- Colca Canyon - Puno
An early 'Rise & Shine', because we are heading to "Cruz del Condor" to see the biggest flying birds in flight in their natural habitat. Then we have to conquer the 'mighty' Andes westbound on our motorcycles. Late in the afternoon we will arrive in Puno, on the shores of the highest navigable lake in the world, lake Titicaca.
Day 4 --- Puno - Moquegua
In the morning we have time for a nice boattrip to the 'floating Islands' of the Uros-indians. Then we start the engines to cross the Andes again, now eastbound. After passing the highest point of today at 4.700 meters, a spectacular descend to 1.200 meters is next. We stay in the center of hte 'Copper Capitol' of Peru, Moquegua.
Day 5 --- Moquegua - Arequipa
Back to sea level. Partially along the Pacific coast we ride northbound over the PanAmerican Highway. We end this tour where it started a few days ago, in Arequipa on 2.300 meters..
